Some favorite drinks can have a negative impact on women’s health. Therapist, nutritionist Irina Nikulina spoke about this, writes RIAMO.
She included packaged juice in the list, which contains a lot of dyes and flavors. The doctor called the drink “liquid” sugar, which can cause sharp spikes in blood glucose levels and contribute to the development of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
Beer is also dangerous, the doctor noted. According to her, this drink can provoke breast cancer and polycystic disease due to the high content of active estrogens, which also affects hormonal levels. She added that ethyl alcohol disrupts the intestinal microflora, irritates its mucous membrane and overloads the liver and kidneys.
Diet soda is no less harmful, says Nikulina. According to her, such drinks with sweeteners contain synthetic substances that negatively affect the body and contribute to weight gain.
Finally, frequent consumption of coffee, even natural grain coffee, is harmful – it can lead to problems with the gastrointestinal tract, nervous and cardiovascular systems. The doctor advises limiting yourself to 1-2 cups of natural grain coffee per day.
The doctor advises switching to green tea, matcha or chicory. At the same time, she called plain water the healthiest drink.
