The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid debuted alongside the GTS, which also gets a horsepower boost.
The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has, as before, the electrified Biturbo-V8 drive, which has been additionally strengthened. In addition, there is a significant improvement of the battery.
The thoroughly revised 4.0-liter Biturbo-V8 now develops 599 hp and is ready for the Euro 7 standard. Switching from Twin-Scroll to Mono-Scroll turbochargers shortens the catalyst warm-up time. Exhaust gas temperatures of up to 1,000° C and the associated cleaner combustion, as well as an increase in mean peak pressure to 140 bar in the combustion chambers, should improve drive efficiency, especially in the high-dynamic range.
The eight-speed PDK gearbox is also new. An electric motor developing 190 HP is integrated in its housing (and cooling circuit). The system increased total power by 102 hp to 782 hp, while system torque increased by 150 Nm to 1,000 Nm.
The increase in power also affected acceleration. The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 325 km/h. That’s an improvement of 25 km/h and 0.5 seconds.
With a gross 25.9 kWh, the capacity of the high-voltage battery has increased by 45 percent. This results in an electric range of up to 88 km (according to WLTP EAER City). Also, it is now regenerated with up to 88 kW. With the built-in 11-kW AC charger, the battery charges from zero to 100 percent in about two hours and 39 minutes.
Standard equipment includes ceramic brakes with yellow or bright green calipers, 21-inch forged wheels with center studs, Porsche Active Ride suspension as well as all dynamic control systems and rear axle steering.

Standard equipment includes dark bronze tailpipes and anthracite gray painted 21-inch Turbo S wheels with center studs. Also, the GTS has a lot of Race-Tex material in the interior, a Bose sound system and a Sport-Chrono package with stopwatch and Push-to-Pass function.
In Germany, prices for the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid start at 229,400 euros, while the long version of the Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive is available at prices of 240,700 euros. The basic price for the Panamera GTS is 165,300 euros. Deliveries in Germany will begin in the fall of 2024.
