The most watched films 20. Free Zone encore

The day after the official closing of the 20th Free Zone, in the Hall of the Cultural Center of Belgrade on Tuesday, November 12, the repertoire will include the most watched achievements of the festival: “AI Justice”, “We have no other country”, “My favorite cake” and “There is always tomorrow”.

Tickets at the price of 400 dinars are on sale at the DKC box office from 11.11. at 4 p.m.

Political futuristic thriller “I’m right” Simona Kasala is on the program in 15 hours.

The film is set in the near future, when the Spanish government plans to replace judges with artificial intelligence software to contribute to the efficiency and depoliticization of the judicial system. However, when the woman who designed this system is found dead, the judge called to evaluate the procedure realizes that her life is in danger, because the interests of powerful people from the top of the state are at stake.

A documentary about a young Palestinian and an Israeli brought together by the struggle for justice, “We have no other country”is in the repertoire from 17 sati.

The film takes us to Masafer Yat, a Palestinian village in the West Bank that is being gradually destroyed by Israeli soldiers due to allegedly illegal construction. Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham claimed that behind everything there is a wider conspiracy to take over the land from the Palestinians. He joined Palestinian Basel Adra, whose family has been fighting against house demolitions and forced evictions for decades, in the fight against injustice, which they turned into a film.

A tender and touching drama “My favorite cake” will be displayed by 19 hours.

The multiple award-winning film by Iranian directors Marjam Mogadam and Bentaša Sanaiha follows the seventy-year-old widow Mahin, who is ready to open up to new love. An unexpected meeting with a retired taxi driver will turn into an unplanned, unforgettable evening.

The program closes with an encore of Italian melodrama “There is always tomorrow” u 21 sat.

The director, screenwriter and lead actress, Paola Cortelezi, filmed a story inspired by the difficult lives of her grandmothers and great-grandmothers. She plays Delia, a housewife in post-war Rome who endures an abusive husband and a grizzled father-in-law. Paola presented this difficult topic in an almost black-humored way, which is why the film experienced an unprecedented success in Italy. The film also reached schools and parliament, prompting discussions about the deeply rooted patriarchal culture in this country.
