The MotoGP testing schedule for 2025 is known.

The 2025 MotoGP season will feature three tests during the season, along with two planned pre-season outings on the track and the traditional test day after the final round.

The testing calendar for the 2025 season began on Tuesday after the Barcelona Grand Prix.

It will continue from February 5-7 next year in Malaysia, with a three-day test in Sepang for test drivers and rookies from January 31-February 2.

The last pre-season test will be held from February 12 to 13 in Buriram, ahead of the start of the new season which begins in Thailand on February 28.

Dorna has now announced that three days of testing in the season will take place in 2025.

The first is on April 28 immediately after the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, followed by a day of action on Monday June 9 after the round in Aragon.

The last test of the season will be held on September 15 after San Marinowhich was usually the first opportunity for manufacturers to get their prototypes for next year on track.

The last test of the year will be held on Tuesday after Valencia’s season finale.

The test dates during the season will be the only opportunity for Mikel Pirro to ride with the current rider line-up in MotoGP, unless invited for any substitution, as the Italian manufacturer will not be entitled to any invitation.

Pre-season “private” testing for the Moto3 class runs from February 10 to 11, with Moto2 following on February 12 and 13 in Portugal.

The official pre-season test for both classes will take place from February 18 to 20 in Jerez.

The season dates for Moto2 will be May 13 in Le Mans and July 21 in Brno, while Moto3 will be scheduled for May 12 in France and July 22 in the Czech Republic.
