The 67th Muhu Strait Regatta, which started in Tallinn over the weekend, will bring a hundred yachts from Kärdla to Haapsallu tomorrow evening, where the competition, called a sailors’ song party, will also end on Saturday.
In Haapsalu, competing vessels must fit in Veskiviiki, Suur-Holm and Westmer ports. Suur-Holm and Veskiviiki harbor marketing director Tiit Lillipuu and Westmer captain Karel Saarkopli confirmed that the harbors are ready to receive the regatta. “Preparations are underway and by the time the strait comes in, everything will be as it should be,” Lillipuu said on Wednesday.
