The first stage of the 67th Muhu Strait Regatta, which started in Tallinn over the weekend, was raced on Monday, where two Haapsalu yacht club vessels reached the top three in their competition class.

This year, in addition to Estonians, sailors from Latvia, Lithuania and Finland will participate in the regatta, which is called the sailors’ song party. During the week, six stages will be sailed, during which the 1010 vessels registered for the race will sail from Tallinn first to Kärdla and then to Haapsallu. The penultimate stage will bring the competitors from Kärdla to Haapsalu on Friday, and the last stage of the competition will be the Haapsalu circuit on Saturday.
