The venue at 4 Muntaner Street was the Emporium between 1927 and 1979. Then the Riba brothers (Scala Barcelona) converted the venue into Muntaner 4 Discorama, with a rotating track and stage, which operated from 1985 to 1995, and then It became the Shadows nightclub.

In 1996 there was a radical change, when it became a theater as the Muntaner Hall, which remained active until 2018. Now, in 2024, the performing arts return to number 4 of Barcelona’s Eixample Street, in the theater that will be from now on “the house of comedy”.
