The new album of the Belgrade band Rain Delay called “Mediterranean” has been released.

As stated in the official announcement, the band of author Dušan Pešić brings seven songs in new, acoustic versions without metal, but with a recognizable Rain Delay atmosphere.

On the album „Mediterranean“ you don’t hear distorted guitars and vocals, but there are acoustic and classical guitars, violins and orchestrations. Each song is dedicated to the author’s vacation, and the entire album is dedicated to the Mediterranean. Musically, the album combines Rain Delay melancholy with elements of coastal guitar pop rock, Venetian neo-classicism and flamenco. Keyboardist Matija Anđelković contributes to neo-classicism, while Stanislav Stanojević brings flamenco on the classical guitar.

Permanent members of the band include Antonija Maletin (drums), Gordana Georgijević (vocals), Anđela Vemić (vocals), Aleksander Matović (guitars), Nikola Andrejić (frets bass guitar) and Predrag Andrejević (guitars). Šerin Radeski (violin) and Ana Vlatković (vocals) are guests, appearing after 20 years. Co-producer Filip Vlatković is responsible for the release of the album, while Igor Stanić was in charge of recording.
