The new Aprilia Tuono 457 debuted at the EICMA fair

Aprilia presented the brand new Tuono 457 motorcycle at the EICMA fair in Milan.

Based on the RS 457 that hit the market earlier this year, the Aprilia Tuono 457 is here to fill the gap between the Tuono 125 and 660 models.

Aprilia presented several new models for 2025 at the prestigious event, and the Tuono 457 is one that will delight many owners of the A2 category as it shares many similarities with the RS457, but comes in a more comfortable package.

The performance is the same as on the variant with armor. The new machine meets the Euro5+ standard with its 457cc parallel twin engine that produces 47.6PS at 9,400rpm and 44Nm of torque at 6,700rpm. The Tuono 457 manages to squeeze out 82 percent of its torque at just 3,000 rpm.

The engine is just one area of the bike where the similarities between the new Tuon and the RS457 continue, as they also share the same chassis configuration. The new Tuono is the only naked bike in its segment that has an aluminum frame, which it shares with the RS457, while the “dry” weight of the motorcycle is also the same – 159 kg.

Suspension setup features a pair of 41mm inverted forks with preload adjustment with 120mm of travel. At the rear, the Tuono provides 130mm of travel via a configurable monoshock, mounted on an asymmetrical steel rear fork which is also adjustable.

The braking system consists of a pair of four-piston ByBre radial caliperswith the front running on two steel discs of 320 mm and 220 mm at the rear. The brake lever on the steering wheel is also adjustable. The system is supported by a Bosch dual-channel dual-mapping ABS system, which is available either on both wheels or just the front. The 17-inch rims fit 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tires.

The Ride by Wire system – first introduced by Aprilia in MotoGP with the RS Cube model in 2002, has three driving modes, which are Eco, Sport and Rain. A five-inch TFT dash with built-in smartphone pairing is included, while other eye-catching touches include a backlit shifter and an optional two-way quick shifter.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 comes in two different color options with Piranha Red red accentuating the classic colors of Aprilia. The second color is Puma Grey.
