The new flagship of the GV series defines comfortable movie nights, including playback options from Google TV and Netflix to the bedroom ceiling
BenQ, an internationally recognized brand of projectors and digital lifestyle devices, launches the GV50 smart laser projector. It offers extremely flexible projection and overall audiovisual optimization for its placement on a bed or bedside table.

The new flagship offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a brightness of 500 lumens and the ability to project up to a 120-inch image, including a special Night Shift mode that adjusts the image to reduce eye strain. There is also a sleep timer.
Flexible positioning is enabled by 360 degrees of horizontal rotation, 135 degrees of rotation in the vertical direction and special extendable legs from a fixed stand suitable for tilting the projection in two levels when placed on a side bedside table. An intuitive slider for zoom control or the ability to move the projected content using the controller further enhance the easy installation and optimal setting of the projector in the room.
Picture and sound quality are supported by special BenQ CinematicColor and CinematicSound modes. The Ceiling Cinema Sound mode reproduces rich 2.1-channel sound with a power of 18 W in the optimal direction of the user, regardless of their position. The projector also supports the HDR/HLG display standard and covers 92% of the Rec color space. 709.
Rich software equipment predetermines the projector for free time or screening before going to bed. Google TV, Netflix and more are pre-installed. The response time of 22.4 ms is also suitable for undemanding regular console gaming.
Connection to the projector is ensured via USB-C, USB-A, HDMI or wirelessly via Bluetooth, AirPlay and Google Cast. The projector can be powered from a power bank or used as a power bank for charging mobile devices. The device lasts up to 150 minutes of video playback or can be used as a portable speaker for 280 minutes of music production.
BenQ GV50 it will be available at the turn of September/October for a suggested retail price of CZK 17,990 including VAT in the Czech Republic and €715 including VAT in Slovakia.
