The newest member of the Honor family is, as of now, the Honor 200 Smart. This model promises to offer a more budget-friendly alternative to the 200, 200 Pro and 200 Lite models.
Design and display
The Honor 200 Smart stands out for its 6.8-inch TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and capable of rendering approximately 16.7 million colors.
The aluminosilicate glass protection (a type of glass that is composed of alumina or aluminum oxide) adds extra durability, making the phone more resistant to scratches and accidental bumps.
The new smartphone is available in two color variants: Midnight Black and Forest Green.
The black version is 8.09mm thick and weighs 191g, while the green version is slightly thicker at 8.24mm and 193g.
Performance and specifications
The device hides a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, a more than interesting choice for a smartphone in this price category.
This is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, a configuration that should meet the needs of most users for various daily activities.
Camera and photography
As for the photo part, the phone is dominated by the 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for bokeh effects in portraits.
For selfies and video calls, the phone is equipped with a 5-megapixel front camera.
Both cameras support video recording at a resolution of 1080p.
Autonomy and connectivity
One of the strengths of the company’s newest model is the generous 5200 mAh battery. HONOR SuperCharge 35W fast charging support ensures fast battery recharging.
On the connectivity side, the phone supports dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G networks, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. Additionally, it comes with both facial recognition and a fingerprint sensor. It is mounted on the side of the smartphone.
