No arms, but robotic legs
At the heart of this new X50 series from Dreame is the ProLeap system, a major advance in the navigation of robot vacuum cleaners. Thanks to its retractable “robotic legs”, the X50 Ultra Complete can overcome obstacles up to 6 cm high, including door thresholds and small steps. This capability allows it to clean uninterrupted throughout the home, eliminating inaccessible areas that were previously problematic for traditional robot vacuums.
VersaLift Navigation technology perfectly complements the ProLeap system by allowing the robot to clean under low furniture. The adjustable DToF sensor can lower to a height of just 3.5 inches, providing deep cleaning in previously inaccessible spaces. This feature is especially useful for reaching areas under sofas and beds, where dust often accumulates.
Finally, the cleaning efficiency of the X50 Ultra Complete is enhanced by its impressive 20,000 Pa suction power, generated by a sixth generation TurboForce motor spinning at 90,000 revolutions per minute. This power can effectively remove debris, even in deep cracks in the floor.
A new brush and AI
The robot is equipped with the HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush system, which combines a TPU rubber brush and a bristle rubber brush for optimal cleaning on different floor types. This system can effectively treat hair of all lengths, avoiding tangles that are often problematic for traditional robot vacuum cleaners.
Artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in the performance of the X50 Ultra Complete. OmniDirt Detection 2.0 technology uses visual recognition to identify different types of dirt – dry, wet, mixed or large particles – and automatically adjusts the cleaning strategy accordingly.
The X50 Ultra Complete’s PowerDock base station offers complete automated maintenance. It automatically empties the robot’s dust bin, can store up to 100 days of debris, and self-cleans the mops with hot water at 80°C. The station also dries mops with hot air to prevent mold and bad odors.
For pet owners, the X50 Ultra Complete offers specific features like remote pet monitoring and a pet search mode. The robot can even take photos of your pets when it finds them, providing a unique interaction with your four-legged friends…
A robotic arm for later
Roborock having taken Dreame by surprise with the announcement of a vacuum cleaner equipped with a robotic arm, the manufacturer had no choice but to also announce this new feature but it will only arrive on future models and nothing more. forecasts.
This robotic arm called Bionic Multi-Joint is based on Dual Flex and VersaLift technologies. It is designed to tackle the most complex cleaning challenges with advanced AI and design inspired by human joints. Featuring a 4-joint motor module, it can extend up to 30cm and lift objects weighing 400g, while its AI-driven object recognition allows it to precisely identify and grasp various debris. A top-mounted RGB camera provides 360° coverage, allowing users to interact with their pets or monitor cleaning. In addition, the arm can independently select and operate cleaning tools, reaching up to 40cm to clean low and narrow spaces, providing a comprehensive cleaning experience.
