Chinese Honor has a busy second half of October ahead of it. The highlight will be the presentation of the new Honor Magic 7 flagship, which will take place on October 30. Honor Magic 7 will arrive earlier than expected
According to general assumptions, Honor was supposed to introduce the Magic 7 series only in January next year. The new term is such a pleasant surprise. As for the specifications, not much is known yet. At the beginning of September she escaped photo that shows the real form of the top model Magic 7 Pro.
The Magic 7 phones are expected to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, although it’s not out of the question that Honor will go with the competing Dimensity 9400 platform. Some rumors then suggest that the Honor Magic 7 Pro could be equipped with an OmniVision OV50H photo sensor with a resolution of 50 Mpx and a sensor Sony IMX882 for a camera with a telephoto lens. However, we will have to wait for more information about the specifications and features.
MagicOS 9.0 is coming
Already next week, the new MagicOS 9.0 is expected to be introduced, which is based on the recently completed Android 15. Already in the previous version of MagicOS 8.0, Honor aimed on the integration of artificial intelligence. Among other things, it introduced the Magic Portal function, which uses AI to recommend various shortcuts to the user that speed up the actions performed.
The system will focus on AI
In the new version, AI integration has advanced even deeper. The main innovation is supposed to be its own personal assistant powered by artificial intelligence called AI Agent. Its goal is to compete not only with Google Gemini, but also with Apple Intelligence. The service was first shown at IFA 2024, where a video of it appeared on the Honor Magic 7 phone, which also revealed a new oval hole for the selfie camera.
