Apple has launched the 7th generation iPad mini, introduced with the A17 Pro chipset, which is also seen in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. But the official website says something different, the tablet only has a 5-core graphics unit, which looks like a trimmed down version of the A17 Pro.
It is quite possible that the version with a 6-core processor and 5-core graphics unit is not powerful enough for iPhones.
We should also note that Apple stopped production of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max after releasing the 16 Pro duo, which may give us a sign that there are a few extra processors left over to begin with.
The processor still performs well, with only one core disabled for performance.
