Mazda’s most spacious SUV, with 3 rows of seats and up to 7 passengers, has arrived in dealerships across Europe. The new large class SUV can also be ordered in Romania.
Following the launch of the CX-60, the new Mazda CX-80 is the second in a series of new models for Europe from the company’s ‘Large Product’ group. Featuring three rows of seats, the most spacious vehicle in Mazda’s European range is now arriving at authorized Mazda dealers in Europe.
The vehicle is available in five trim levels: Exclusive-line, Takumi, Homura, Takumi Plus and Homura Plus. The Takumi class offers an interior with white Nappa leather upholstery, maple wood trim and distinctive Japanese stitching. Meanwhile, the Homura trim offers a black interior with Nappa leather upholstery and Gun Metal trim. The car is also available in two new body colors: Artisan Red and Melting Copper.
Mazda has a new flagship in its European range
The interior offers versatile equipment and utility features, including three second-row seating configurations: a seven-passenger bench seat, six-passenger easy-access individual captain’s seats and center-console captain’s individual seats six passengers. Compared to the CX-60, it boasts more shoulder, head, hip and coupling distance between the front and rear rows.
The Mazda CX-80 offers two powertrains: the e-Skyactiv PHEV and the e-Skyactiv D. The e-Skyactiv PHEV combines a Skyactiv-G 2.5 four-cylinder direct-injection gasoline engine with a 175-hp electric motor and a lithium-ion battery of 17.8 kWh. The system is capable of an autonomy of 60-61 km in an exclusively electric mode and a total power of 327 HP.
The e-Skyactiv D model has a 3.3-liter inline six-cylinder engine with 254 hp with mild-hybrid technology. It offers a 0-100 km/h performance in 8.4 seconds and a top speed of 219 km/h. Average WLTP consumption is 5.7-5.8 l/100 km.
