The new Motorola Razr 50s is likely to become the cheapest flip phone of 2024

Undoubtedly Motorola already announced two excellent foldable phones, the 2024 Razr and Razr Plus, also known as the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, but it has an even more powerful device that has been hiding from us until now…. the upcoming Razr 50s! This brand new model might turn out to be one of the cheapest foldable phones and all its specifications have just been leaked.

Previously, it appeared on Geekbench with a processor MediaTek Dimensity 7300 with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU or the same chipset that powers the Motorola Razr 50 aka Razr 2024.

The Razr 50s, however, is said to be on the lower end of Motorola’s other 2024 foldables, and Steve Hammerstoffer or otherwise @OnLeaks, just released all of its specs to back up that rumor.

  • Main screen: 6.9″ (2640x1080px)
  • External screen: 3.6″ (1056x1066px)
  • Processor: Dimensity 7300X
  • Memory: 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space
  • Cameras: 50MP and 32MP (selfie)
  • Battery: 4200mAh
  • IPX8
  • Android version 14
  • Dimensions: 74×171×7.3mm / 74×88×15.9mm
  • Weight: 188g.

As you can see, the only major difference between the Motorola Razr 2024 aka Razr 50 and the cheaper Motorola 50s is expected to be in the camera setup. The 50s will eschew the ultra-wide-angle sensor, which ultimately accounts for its lower purchase price. However, photos of the Razr 50s published by OnLeaks show two rear cameras, making it virtually identical to the Razr 2024.

Motorola Razr 50s to be announced this week, on September 27 and will likely cost less than the Razr 50. Since the Motorola Razr 2024 costs $699.99 in the US, it’s not hard to conclude that the Razr 50s might be the cheapest flip phone to come out this year.
