FM Records presents with pleasure and honor the song by Haris Alexiou entitled Kafes composed by Thodoris Papadopoulos and lyrics by Smaros Papadopoulos.
This is not the first time that Haris Alexiou has collaborated with composer Thodoris Papadopoulos. Their friendship and collaboration has lasted for years and now they are sealed again with the release of this song. Kafes was recorded some years ago and the time has come for it to be released. The beautiful lyrics are by Smaros Papadopoulou.

As Haris Alexiou says: “This song moves me unimaginably and I remember the beautiful moments I lived in rehearsals and in the studio with Theodoris and Smaro who wrote the lyrics. After all, a song that we don’t show at the time of its creation, can come as a gift in the future and unite us with the beautiful moments we lived with those we loved and who loved us.”
Composer Theodoros Papadopoulos has been involved in Greek music and bouzouki since 1979. He met the Retrograde Company where he participated in the live programs as well as in the discography. In 1984 he starts writing his own songs. He has collaborated with many singers.
