The new OnePlus Ace 5 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite and 6,100 mAh battery is for the tough!

“Take courage” finally OnePlus has revealed the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro as successors to the Ace 3 and Ace 3 Pro, respectively. OnePlus omitted the number “4” since there are also the well-known numerical biases in China. After these explanations, let’s see what OnePlus’ latest Ace series smartphones have to offer.

An attractive proposal with many features the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro

First we will talk about the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro which we now know is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The smartphone has up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 built-in storage and runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.

OnePlus Ace 5 Pro features a “VC double ice core” system for 2x faster heat dissipation and a chip vent design to quickly dissipate heat from the bottom of the chip. Additionally, it comes with a Fengchi core for native 120 FPS gaming at 1080p resolution. OnePlus has also teamed up with the folks at Genshin Impact to deliver an enhanced gaming experience.

In the new advantages of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro let’s take into account the use of a 6.78″ 120Hz 2780×1264 pixel 8T LTPO AMOLED screen protected by Crystal Shield Glass. The screen has a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, it works even if you’re wearing gloves or your hands are wet.

Additionally, the display has a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication and a punch hole for the 16MP selfie camera. Around the back, we have a large ring that houses three cameras – 50MP main (Sony IMX906, OIS), 8MP ultrawide (112° FOV) and 2MP macro. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro also comes with some AI-compatible camera features that let you remove people from photos and reduce glare in images.

This Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship draws power from a 6,100mAh battery with 100W charging support. It also supports bypass charging designed for gaming.

Other high-lights of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro include an X-axis linear motor, stereo speakers, multi-function NFC, IR blaster and IP65 rating. The smartphone also comes with Wi-Fi 7 and a Wi-Fi gaming chip called G1.

Color-wise, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is offered in purple, black and white, with the third being a special edition with a ceramic finish.
