The new Vespa Gts 310 presented at the EICMA fair in Milan

The Piaggio Group with its brands has a notable presence at this year’s EICMA fair, and one of the novelties shown in Milan is the new Vespa Gts 310.

The Vespa has remained an eternal symbol of Italian style and an icon of elegance, but it continues to upgrade, bringing the best of the best technology.

The flagship Gts is now the most powerful and fastest Vespa ever built in the nearly eighty-year history of the world’s most beloved two-wheeler.and the new 310cc engine is at the heart of this evolution: using the state-of-the-art water-cooled 278cc unit as a base, this unit represents a significant development, with more than 70% new components, new dimensions and improved performance as a result.

The stroke of this single-cylinder engine has been increased from 63 mm to just over 70 mm, increasing the volume from 278 to 310 cubic meters, and the power to 25 hp. The torque has also been increased and thanks to the longer stroke it now offers a more flexible ride.

Technical and stylistic features, recently completely refreshed, remain unchanged, confirming Vespa’s tradition of constantly updating its scooters to incorporate the latest technology – one of the secrets of its success from the very beginning.
