A year ago, we learned about a new Xbox controller called Sebile from a legal leak. The controller was supposed to include improved wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, modular joysticks, replaceable and rechargeable batteries, and haptic feedback. At the same time, it will have a cloud function and will be able to connect to the cloud directly via Wi-Fi for the fastest possible response. A function is also to be added “lift to wake”, when the gamepad automatically turns on if you lift it, it should also have high reparability.
The currently discovered patent from August 2023 confirms to us at least a haptic response. It describes vibrations with a haptic motor that generates feedback by moving against the controller housing.
Originally, it was expected that this gamepad would be released this year with the half-generation Xbox console, but that was canceled and it will only be released with the new generation, probably in 2026.
