Xiaomi recently brought a new power bank to the domestic market with a capacity of 10,000 mAh and a built-in cable that fits easily in your pocket. Another model has now been launched in the Czech Republic, which bets all its trump cards on capacity. It will fit on really long trips.
The novelty with a price of CZK 899 offers capacity is 30 000 mAhalready Xiaomi comments with the words “you charge once and you can use for 10 days”. Of course, it will depend on the type of device you intend to charge and its consumption, but if we focus purely on smartphones, the company may not be far from the truth.
When I went on a 5-day hiking trip this summer, I took with me a Google Pixel 7 Pro smartphone, whose battery life is dismal compared to the new Pixel 9 Pro XL, and a few-year-old 20,000mAh power bank. I intentionally saved on energy, but in the end I got through it without any problems and the power bank was worth it, there were still some percentages left.
With such a high power bank capacity, there is of course a disadvantage related to the dimensions – 154,5 x 72,3 x 38,9 mm in short, it’s nothing you want to have in your purse or small shoulder bag while walking around town. At the same time, you have to put up with slow charging for this specific model, which takes about 7.5 hours with a PD 24W or higher charger. Your device then a powerbank charges with 18W power.
In terms of connectivity, the Xiaomi 18W Power Bank 30000mAh GL is equipped one USB-C portwhich serves as input and output, two USB-A ports and surprisingly one too Micro USB port. The manufacturer is not mentioned in the specifications, but we can notice it in the renders.
