The water quality is also constantly checked on the Dunakes beach, and this time they were measured above the permissible limit, so bathing must be temporarily suspended.
The municipality issued a statement for information, which states: according to the latest measurement carried out by the water quality testing laboratory of Budapest Gyógyfürdői és Hévizei Zrt., one of the biological parameters in the water of the free beach was above the permissible limit, and bathing on the free beach is temporarily suspended.

As with all beaches, in the case of Dunakeszi, natural bathing waters are evaluated according to the regulations of the government decree. The laboratories sample the bathing waters before the start of the bathing season and then monthly during the season. Depending on the amount of bacteria tested, the given water sample can be classified as “adequate” or “inadequate”.
