The next Audis might not have the 4 rings. Here’s why

Think of aAudi. Whatever it is, new or vintage, SUV or sedan, sports car or city car, it will certainly have the four rings. On the other hand, it is the logo of the German company, an essential detail for any model. A rule that in the future may no longer be respected.

According to a preview published by Reuters, in fact, the future Audis developed in collaboration with Saic and destined for the Chinese market, may not have the four rings logo. Here’s why.

Audi’s decision would be due precisely to the collaboration with Saic, to recognize its precious support for the development of future electric cars which – according to previews – will be 9 by 2030.

<p>The sources cited by the <strong>Reuters</strong> did not provide further details and we do not know whether the new model range – known internally as the <strong>name “Purple”</strong> – will have a different logo, will have the Audi writing or something else. We shouldn’t have to wait long to find out, however. According to sources, a new one will be presented in November <strong>prima concept car</strong> born from the <a rel=collaboration between Audi and Saic and for the occasion the top management of the two companies could illustrate their future plans.

When asked by Reuters, Audi did not comment on the rumours, calling them mere speculation. Saic, on the other hand, said declared that the next electric cars will be “real Audis”.
