Facebook group “Natural Phenomena”/On Tuesday night, the Northern Lights appeared again in the sky of Lithuania

In the Facebook group “Weather and climate in Lithuania” it is written: “In western Lithuania (where the clear sky is the most) you can already look for the Northern Lights. Just don’t expect to see such bright colors as in this photo with the naked eye. Such colors are obtained by taking pictures with exposure for several seconds. In order to see something with your own eyes, you need to be in the country (not in the city) and have an open northern horizon, then you should see some light. Otherwise, only your camera eyes will see the aurora.”

“The western part of Lithuania (where there are less clouds) can start looking for the Northern Lights with cameras, because the indicators are improving: Kp6+, Hemispheric Power 65 GW and growing, and Bz <-10", writes meteorologist Gytis Valaika on his Facebook page "Weather and climate in Lithuania".
