The notification notice for residences rented for tourism purposes has been announced

The circular regarding the notifications to be made to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism by intermediary service providers that provide rental of residences for tourism purposes has been published.

With the circular that entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette, the procedures and principles regarding the notifications to be made to the Ministry by the intermediary service providers who enable the online publication of the advertisements of real and legal persons who carry out the activity of renting houses to real and legal persons for tourism purposes were regulated.

Intermediary service providers shall electronically transmit to the Ministry the address information of the residence included in the published announcements regarding the transactions they have carried out within one month of the calendar year, the name, surname, title, Turkish identity number, foreign identity number, tax identification number or passport information of the real or legal persons to whom the service is provided, the address and contact information, the permit number and other information to be determined by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The information within the scope of the Communiqué will be reported monthly. Information for each month will be sent to the Ministry by 23:59 on the 10th day of the following month.

The Ministry will be authorized to determine the scope and content of this information. The data format and standard to be reported and the method of notification will also be announced on the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

PRINCIPLES REGARDING INITIAL NOTIFICATION

Intermediary service providers within the scope of the Communiqué will make their first notifications within one week from the date of entry into force of this Communiqué, covering the announcements made before July 15.

The data format and standard and notification method regarding the information to be reported within the scope of the Communiqué will be announced on the Ministry’s official website within 15 days.

Intermediary service providers who will provide information will complete the technical work required to ensure that the announcements in question contain the information requested to be reported within 30 days.
