To celebrate the 40 years of the creation of Dragon BallToei Animation has decided to produce a brand new series: Dragon Ball Daima. While the first episode is expected on October 11 next, Dragon Ball Daima should include certain elements of Dragon Ball GT (yes this is not supposed to reassure us…). As in Dragon Ball GTthe flagship characters of the Dragon Ball license (Goku and Vegeta in the lead) will mysteriously be rejuvenated.

A synopsis for the first episode
Shortly before his death, Akira Toriyama had dropped some clues concerning the plot of Dragon Ball Daimawhile remaining very evasive. He notably declared that:
Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends became small. In order to make things right, they will head to a new world. It’s an epic, action-packed adventure in a new, unknown and mysterious world. As Goku has to compensate for his small size, he uses his Nyoibo to fight, something that hasn’t been seen in a long time.
For those who don’t know the original termthe Nyoibo is Goku’s magic staff. A weapon that he used a lot in the first saga Dragon Ball before being left on the sidelines.
The various images that have been transmitted by Toei Animation confirm that Goku and his friends will go to the Demon Realm. An area that has been very little explored in the universe Dragon Ball apart from the spin-off series Dragon Ball Heroes and in certain video games. Obviously, Goku is going to enter a race against time against the demon Supreme Kaiswhich has also been reduced:
Goku and Supreme Kais were shrunk by a conspiracy. They will both participate, along with new characters like Glorio and Panzy, in an exciting adventure in the Demon Realm. Additionally, early trailers reveal that new characters will be introduced for the first time.

Goku and his friends were living a peaceful life when they were suddenly shrunk due to a conspiracy. When they discover that the reason might lie in a world called the Demon Realm, a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them.
We don’t really know who this Glorio is, but he could be the key element in this new series. The first episode of Dragon Ball Daima, which will still last 40 minuteswill be broadcast on Crunchyroll on October 11.
