The oldest man in the world, John Tinniswood, died in England at 112

ENGLAND – He leaves behind a daughter, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The oldest man in the world, Briton John Tinniswood, died on Monday November 25, at the age of 112.

He died “ surrounded by music and love »his family said in a press release released this Tuesday. “ John always liked to say thank you. On his behalf, we therefore thank all those who took care of him over the years”we can also read.

The man, born in Liverpool on August 26, 1912, died at his retirement home in Southport, in the northwest of England. Born the year the Titanic sank, he worked as an accountant in the British armed forces during the Second World War before working for Shell and BP, two oil giants.

Guinness World Records awarded him the title of oldest man in the world last April after the death of Venezuelan Juan Vicente Pérez Mora at the age of 114.
