The OnePlus 13 got an upgrade and got a Macro mode

A few weeks ago we wrote an article where we described the new OnePlus 13 device which is officially only available in China and now there is already a software update ready for download that comes with Macro mode. Once users download and install this update, they will see a horseshoe icon in the OnePlus 13’s default camera app, which allows them to click macro images with the 50MP ultra-wide camera.

The OnePlus 13 has three branded 50MP cameras Hasselblad on the back – main, ultra-wide (120˚) and periscope telephoto (3x optical). For selfies and video calls, there is a 32MP camera on the front.

The new OP13 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. However, international models will launch with OxygenOS 15. The smartphone comes with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB built-in storage, but the global versions are rumored to have only two options – 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered OnePlus flagship is based on a 6.82″ 1,440p 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The smartphone feeds a 6,000 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The OnePlus 13 is currently only available in China and there is no word from the company about its international availability.
