The owner of a Narva nightclub bought a famous restaurant

Narva entrepreneur Evgeniy Fedorov continues to expand his business: he acquired the Narva Pärl restaurant, located in the Fama shopping center. As DV previously wrote, at the beginning of this year his company opened a small spa and bath center, which became the first in the city.

Evgeny Fedorov owns the Geneva company, which includes the nightclub and concert house of the same name. His other company, Sanesi, includes the Narva Hotel, the second largest in the city, which includes the M. Chagall restaurant and a recently opened spa. Now the Narva Pärl restaurant has also joined the same company. This is a family business – several management positions in the companies are held by close relatives.

The co-owner of the company that previously owned the Pärl restaurant, Yulia Potasheva, explained to DV that she moved to another city and decided “not to sit on two chairs.” The manager of the Geneva and Sanesi companies, Vladimir Aret, explained that the Sanesi company did not buy the company, but the building and equipment of the Pärl restaurant.

Pärl has been closed for about a month and workers can be seen inside. According to Aret, the grand opening of the renovated restaurant is scheduled for November 1.

“We are currently carrying out minor repair work. And we are preparing for a new menu,” he added.

According to Aret, now the two restaurants will now have one chef – Alexander Kronov. At the same time, the restaurants will be designed for different clients:

“The first M. Chagall restaurant is located at the hotel, and a large number of clients are city guests. Restaurant Pärl, on the contrary, is targeting our local audience, the people of Narva. There will be live music every Friday and Saturday, there will be a variety of evening programs and a completely different menu – in the style of a grill, barbecue, with a large wine list, since it turns out to be a small wine cellar, and with many types of draft beer.”

There is a craft brewery just down the street from Pärl, but it is unclear whether the restaurant will feature locally brewed beer.

Sanesi’s business this year was greatly helped by the opening of a spa and sauna center at the Narva Hotel in February, Aret said:

“We are pleased. Domestic tourists are also coming, many are booking spa packages, and positive growth is already visible. In the years 19-23, the low season at the hotel began abruptly in September. There was low occupancy and turnover was falling. Now we are not falling – we remain, in principle, at the same level as in August. The occupancy rate is 73%, which is considered a very good indicator. And we sell packages that include spa visits and three meals a day at a restaurant.”
