Music critics point out that Belinda Davids stands out for her extraordinary vocal quality, which makes her a magnificent interpreter of the most demanding themes of pop, soul i rythm & blues of the last decades. Davids was born in 1976 and started life in the small coastal town of Port Elizabeth in South Africa. His musical family, made up of seven brothers, spent much of their time in church, singing and surrounded by gospel music.
Being a black person who lived her youth in the context of a South Africa marked by apartheid, Belinda found solace and empowerment in music, as a way to combat the inequalities she suffered in her life and in its environment. His passion for music was an expression and a pastime that required no resources, no special education, no permission.
After his participation in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2020 where he stood out for his impressive voice, he has toured with the ‘Greatest love of all’ tour touring Europe, Canada and recently Australia, commemorating Whitney Houston’s musical legacy in a very dignified way .
Now, in our house, she will perform classic songs of the great singer from New Jersey like now I Will Always Love You, I Wanna Dance With Somebody o Didn’t We Almost Have It All in an incomparable backdrop like the Devil’s Bridge. The artist has sent this message to the entire Martorell audience, where she explains that she is very motivated to be able to participate in a festival like PAS.
