Hands up who can’t wait to get their hands on at least one of the phones in the iPhone 16 range. The creator of the popular YouTube channel Unbox Therapy recently posted an interesting clip with each of them. Wondering if they have kept all their features or undergone significant changes? We have the answer below.
The phones from the iPhone 16 series that we can see in the clip posted online are not exactly the ones that will be released soon, but some sample units. They passed through the hands of Chinese case makers first, so that they know how to design future protections based on device sizes and specifications. And as usual, the phones somehow slipped through their fingers and ended up in the hands of a few Apple fans.
iPhone 16: Major changes?
Are the models in the iPhone 16 series completely changed from what we knew so far? The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus could come in a new pale pink color. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max got some extra 3 mm in height. All models have a new button on the right side, just below the lock button. Should this be the dedicated button for Apple Intelligence? We will find out in the fall.
Speaking of buttons, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus seem to keep Action from the Pro models. Another interesting detail would be that both the features and dimensions of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus seem almost identical to what we have seen on the models manufactured before them. Remember the iPhone X-style camera bump? It seems to have been reborn on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
Although the details shown do not represent the final models, they offer interesting hints about the iPhone 16 series. The changes are subtle but significant, and bring a touch of novelty to the traditional design promoted by Apple.
