The police are present at the Hungaroring with a force of nearly 1,300 people over the weekend. The insurance management point operates in the police station next to the track. The camp is staffed day and night.
The work of the Pest County police officers is complemented by the staff of the Emergency Police and the Heves County Police Headquarters. But uniformed officers also arrived from abroad, so Dutch, Romanian, Croatian, Serbian, Slovak, Austrian and Slovenian police officers are also present at the event.
Among the participants in the insurance there are mounted, canine and motorcycle police, while the traffic in the area is also monitored from the air. On the roads leading to the track, uniformed officers assist the flow of traffic, and if necessary and the current traffic situation requires it, they intervene.
The police drew attention to the fact that vehicles left in parking lots should be closed and the windows rolled up. Do not leave any valuables, bags or phones unattended in the passenger compartment in a visible place! Illegally parked cars will be towed away!
