The Porsche Taycan is one of the most interesting electric cars of recent years. Very fast in some versions, it has a sleek appearance and very fast charging times.
After the important updates received in 2024, its range is further expanded in view of the new year with the addition of some new versions, including the base Taycan 4 now also available on the sedan and the renewed one GTS also Sport Turismo station wagon. Here are the details.
Le nuove Taycan GTS
Starting with the models GTSthanks to this substantial update, the power is now reaching its peak 700 CV in overboost, that is, approximately 102 HP more than the previous model and, by opting for the Sport Chrono package the driver can take advantage of further 95 CV for 10 seconds. At the same time, autonomy also rises, and now reaches its peak 628 km (120 km more).
Both the sedan and the Sport Turismo wagon are therefore now capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and are equipped as standard with the multifunction sports steering wheel, pneumatic suspension adaptive seats with torque vectoring, adaptive sports seats and Porsche Active Ride, optionally combined with rear-axle steering.

La nuova Taycan 4
The second novelty for the Taycan in view of the new year concerns, then, the addition of all-wheel drive on the basic Taycan 4 version. This new setup can be purchased both with the standard Performance battery (559 km of autonomy) and with the Performance battery Optional Battery Plus (643 km according to the WLTP cycle) and is capable of delivering 408 HP and 435 HP with overboost respectively.
The advantage of having traction on all 4 wheels allows the new Taycan 4 to reach 100 km/h in just 4.6 secondsi.e. 0.2 seconds less than the rear-wheel drive car, without sacrificing efficiency thanks to the possibility of decoupling the front electric motor when traction conditions allow it.

Concluding with prices, the new Taycan 4 sedan can already be ordered in Italy with starting prices from 110,652 euros. For the new Taycan GTS, however, prices start from 153,739 euros for the sedan and 154,753 euros for the Sport Turismo wagon.
The arrival of both in dealerships is scheduled for early 2025, along with the possibility of ordering the electric sedan also in new body colors for all models, including Neo Slate Gray and Pale Blue metallic.
