We are approaching the cycle of top Android flagships powered by the next generation of top processors. Samsung is expected to lead the line with the series Galaxy S25most likely with it Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. While it’s a good guess that the flagship series will launch in 2025, we now have a more definitive indication for the launch of the Galaxy S25 series.
A report by South Korean newspaper The Financial News citing anonymous industry sources suggests Samsung may hold its next event Galaxy Unpacked on January 23, 2024 a San Francisco, USA. The report suggests that the Galaxy S25 ‘Slim’ could also make a surprise appearance at the event.
Leaker Max Jambor also cryptically denied previous rumors about the launch of the Galaxy S25 in first week of 2025further sharing the news of the second half of January 2025.
So far, Samsung has not confirmed any launch date for the Galaxy S25. The company only mentioned that One UI 7 stable will debut on the “next Galaxy flagship” and that the One UI 7 betas will begin fine 2024 for Galaxy S24 series. This all lines up well with the rumored January 23, 2025 launch date for the Galaxy S25 series.
