Not all families are perfect and that’s fine, but a knife attack is something completely different. Namely, the daughter of the president of the Yamaha Motor Company, Yoshihiro Hidaka, was arrested as a suspect in the attempted murder of her father.
Hidaka was attacked in the early hours of the morning in his homeand he was attacked by his daughter, who is said to have cut his left hand with a kitchen knife. According to multiple reports in several Japanese newspapers, including the Japan Times, his daughter Hana called the Shizuoka Police Department at 5:30 p.m. to report domestic violence against her father.
Police canvassed the property but left without making any arrests, but later that night police returned when the knife attack took place at around 3am and arrested Hidaka’s daughter on suspicion of attempted murder. The injury is said to be minor.
Further details are not available at this timewhile Yamaha told reporters that it has no comment on the incident for now. He adds that the matter is private and that the police investigation is currently underway.
