Imatra Elekter, owned by Elektrilevi, will increase the fee for connecting to the network more than three times from the beginning of February. In addition, the network fee will increase by an average of 5.7 percent.
When connecting new subscribers to the power grid and increasing the nominal current of the fuse of the existing connection, the network company asks for the so-called ampere price. The ampere price for new subscribers will increase from 92.72 euros to 315.36 euros per ampere in February. When switching from a single-phase network connection to a three-phase one, the ampere price will rise from 42.7 euros to 64.48 euros.
