Lynk & Co revealed last week the second generation of the 02, with the importing company in our country announcing that the new purely electric model will be available from the first quarter of 2025.
Available in two versions, the Lynk & Co 02 Core starts at €35,495, while the 02 More starts at €39,495 and includes a 22kW built-in charger, Harman Kardon speakers, 20” wheels and a 360-degree camera. The prices do not include the government subsidy of the Kinoumai Electric III program.
The car is based on Geely’s SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform and has an electric motor on the rear axle that produces 272 horses with 343 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h comes in 5.5 seconds, having a top speed of 180 km/h.
Energy is stored in an NMC battery with a capacity of 66 kWh, with a maximum range of up to 435 km for the Core version and up to 445 km for the More version, according to WLTP.
Despite fitting the larger 20” wheels, the More version has more range due to the active opening front grille and heat pump. Using a 150 kW fast charger, the battery charges from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes, while offering a range of up to 445 km.
The new Lynk & Co 02 is 4,460 mm long, 1,845 mm wide, 1,573 mm high. and a wheelbase of 2,755 mm, while its weight is announced at 1,820 kg. It can be equipped with 19″ or 20″ diameter rims (235/50 or 245/45 tires), and inside it we find a 15.4″ touch screen, a 10.2″ digital instrument panel, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, radios chargers and more, with luggage space reaching 410 litres.
