The price of piglets continues to GROW, lambs up to 550 din/kg!

The price of piglets and fattening pigs is increasing

The dominant price of piglets with a body weight of 16 to 25 kilograms reached the amount of 540 dinars/kg on the livestock market in Loznica, which indicates an increase in price compared to the previous period, despite the good offer of this category of pigs.

The purchase price of piglets, weighing from 16 to 25 kilograms, was also higher in slaughterhouses in the area of ​​Podrina redion, since the amount of 540 dinars/kg dominated.

In slaughterhouses in the southern Banat region, due to very weak supply and increased demand last week, there was an increase in the purchase price of piglets with a body weight of 16 to 25 kilograms. The amount of 360 din/kg dominated.

The increase in the selling price of fattening pigs, with a body weight of over 120 kilograms, was recorded during the past week at the livestock market in Kraljevo, since the amount of 260 dinars/kg dominated. In slaughterhouses in the Raš region, there was an increase in the purchase prices of piglets, body weight from 16 to 25 kilograms to 360 din/kg, fattening pigs of both categories to 220 to 240 din/kg and slaughter sows to 200 din/kg.

At the livestock market in Pirot, the price of piglets with a body weight of up to 15 kilograms and piglets with a body weight of 16 to 25 kilograms was equal, since the amount of 450 dinars/kg was dominant for both.

The most common selling price of piglets, body weight from 16 to 25 kilograms was 330 din/kg, while fattening pigs, body weight from 16 to 25 kilograms could be sold at a price of 190 din/kg at the livestock market in Sombor.

In addition to them, the sale of breeding gilts was recorded at a price of 40,000 dinars per head.

Growth in the prices of fattened beef cattle and cows for slaughter

Growth in the prices of fattened beef over 480 kilograms to a dominant 360 din/kg and SM breed slaughter cows to a dominant 240 din/kg was recorded in slaughterhouses in the Central Banat region, in the week after us.

According to the report of the STIPS reporter from Loznica, last week in slaughterhouses in the Podrinje region there was a drop in the purchase price of cows for slaughter of the SM breed despite the weak supply. The amount of 260 din/kg dominated.

In the slaughterhouses in the area of ​​the South Banat region, a decrease in the purchase price of fattened beef over 480 kilograms was recorded, since the amount of 330 din/kg dominated in the week after us. The offer of the cattle category was very weak.

The purchase price of calves of the SM breed weighing up to 160 kilograms was 550 dinars/kg in slaughterhouses in the Braničevo region. In addition to calves, fattened beef cattle with a body weight of 350 to 480 kilograms were purchased at a dominant price of 500 din/kg and cows for slaughter of the SM breed at a price of 220 din/kg.

The dominant purchase price for fattening bulls of the SM breed with a body weight of over 500 kilograms was 350 din/kg, and cows for slaughter of the SM breed 240 din/kg in slaughterhouses in the Jablanica region in the period 18-24 November.

There was no sale of calves and other categories of cattle at the livestock market in Leskovac. At the cattle market in Sombor last week, calves of the SM breed, weighing up to 160 kilograms, could be sold at a price of 600 din/kg, fattening bulls of the HF breed, weighing more than 500 kilograms, at a price of 310 din/kg, and fattening bulls SM breed, body weight over 500 kilograms, at a price of 340 din/kg.

He collects lambs and kids

At the live stock market in Loznica, an increase in the sale price of lambs was recorded last week, since the turnover was mostly at a price of 530 dinars/kg. The offer was quite weak. In addition to them, you could also buy sheep, whose dominant price was 220 din/kg.

Butchers from the Podrinje region also bought lambs at higher prices, compared to the previous period, since the amount of 550 dinars/kg dominated.

The increase in the selling price of lambs and kids compared to the previous period was also recorded at the livestock market in Kraljevo. Namely, lambs and kids were dominated by the price of 550 din/kg. The purchase price of lambs was also higher in slaughterhouses in the Raš region.

The most common purchase price of lambs was 530 din/kg in slaughterhouses in the Braničevo region. Butchers paid 240 din/kg for purchased siležad, and 220 din/kg for sheep. At the livestock market in Požarevac, the same categories of sheep could be sold at the same prices as in slaughterhouses.

During the third week of November, at the livestock market in Sombor, customers could buy lambs at the dominant price of 410 din/kg, kids at the price of 400 din/kg. For sheep, they were supposed to allocate 120 din/kg, while for goats, the amount of 100 din/kg dominated. Supply and sales were at last week’s level.
