During the past week, STIPS reporters recorded a drop in the price of calves of the SM breed in the Kraljevo area, as well as a drop in the price of bulls in Loznica. The price of piglets is falling in the area of ​​Kragujevac and Subotica, while lambs are cheaper in Kragujevac and more expensive in Sombor.

According to the data of the reporter STIPS from Kraljevo, last week the sale price of calves of the SM breed, weighing up to 160 kilograms, was lower, since the amount of 700 dinars/kg dominated. Unlike them, cows for slaughter were more expensive because the amount of 250 dinars/kg dominated.

The fall in the purchase price of bulls of the SM breed, with a body weight of over 500 kilograms, was recorded in slaughterhouses in the Podrinje region, as the purchase was made for 340 din/kg.

Slaughterhouses from the Raš region bought calves of the SM breed at a dominant price of 650 din/kg, fattening bulls of the SM breed, body weight over 500 kilograms, at a price of 350 din/kg and cows for slaughter of the SM breed at a dominant price of 270 din/ kg.

The dominant purchase price of fattening bulls of the SM breed with a body weight of over 500 kilograms was 350 din/kg in slaughterhouses in the Jablanica region. They also bought SM breed cows for slaughter at the prevailing price of 240 din/kg.

The volume of the offered and purchased heads was average. At the livestock market in Leskovac, there was no offer of calves, fattening steers and other categories of cattle in the week after us.

The average supply of fattening bulls of the SM breed with a body weight of over 500 kilograms was recorded in slaughterhouses in the area of ​​the South Bačka region. The amount of 330 din/kg dominated, as in the previous week.

At the livestock market in Kragujevac, there was no sale of calves, fattening steers and other categories of cattle during the second week of September.

At the livestock market in Kragujevac, a drop in the prices of piglets with a body weight of 16 to 25 kilograms and fattening pigs with a body weight of 80 to 120 kilograms was recorded. The dominant price for piglets was 340 din/kg, while buyers could buy slaughter sows for 190 din/kg.

In slaughterhouses in the northern Bačka region, the purchase price of piglets weighing 16 to 25 kilograms fell to a dominant 350 din/kg, and fattening pigs weighing 80 to 120 kilograms to a dominant 200 din/kg.

The purchase price of piglets was higher compared to the previous week in slaughterhouses in the territory of the South Banat region. Namely, the amount of 380 din/kg dominated. Piglets were also more expensive at the livestock market in Loznica. Most often, heads of 16 to 25 kilograms could be sold for 380 din/kg.

The sale of fattening pigs took place at a higher price compared to the first week of September at the livestock market in Smederevo. For cattle with a body weight of 80 to 120 kilograms, 250 din/kg should be set aside, and for cattle weighing more than 120 kilograms, 230 din/kg.

Last week there was an increase in the price of piglets weighing 16 to 25 kilograms at the cattle market in Obrenovac, as the amount of 340 dinars/kg dominated.

In slaughterhouses in the Belgrade area, the purchase price of fattening pigs with a body weight of 80 to 120 kilograms fell to a dominant 210 dinars/kg. Slaughterhouses from the Jablanica region bought piglets with a body weight of 16 to 25 kilograms at a dominant price of 300 din/kg, while they paid 220 din/kg for purchased fattening pigs with a body weight of over 120 kilograms.

Lamb is cheaper in Kragujevac and more expensive in Sombor

According to the report of STIPS reporter, last week at the livestock market in Kragujevac there was a drop in the sales prices of lambs and heifers, while the price of sheep was higher than them. Buyers were most likely to shell out 370 din/kg for lambs, and 190 din/kg for heifers, while the amount of 180 din/kg was dominant in the sheep category.

The purchase price of dviska was lower last week also in slaughterhouses in the Šumadija region, since the amount of 180 din/kg dominated. At the livestock market in Sombor, the dominant price of lambs rose to 450 din/kg and the price of kids fell to the dominant 400 din/kg last week.

In slaughterhouses in the area of ​​Šabac and surrounding towns, the purchase price of lambs was higher last week, so the amount of 450 dinars/kg dominated. The purchase price of sheep jumped compared to the first week of September in slaughterhouses in the Danube region as well. Namely, the purchase was made at a price of 230 din/kg.

In the slaughterhouses in the Podrinje region, there was an increase in the purchase price of sheep, as the amount of 200 dinars/kg dominated. As in the previous week, kids could be sold at the livestock market in Kraljevo, and the price of 400 dinars/kg dominated.

The offer included lambs whose dominant price was 450 dinars/kg, 150 dinars/kg for sheep, and 30,000 dinars per head for rams. The dominant price of lambs was 500 din/kg at the livestock market in Leskovac during the second week of September.

Buyers had to fork out 400 din/kg for kids, 230 din/kg for sheep, while the most common selling price for goats was 120 din/kg.
