As STIPS reporters noted during the past week, the price of piglets increased in Kragujevac, as did the price of sows for slaughter. In Podrinje, an increase in the selling price of bulls was recorded, with a good volume of purchases.

Fattening bulls are more expensive in Podrinje

Slaughterhouses from the Podrinje region last week bought fattening bulls of the SM breed at a higher price compared to the previous period, since the amount of 350 dinars/kg dominated. The volume of redemptions was good.

In addition to bulls, butchers from this area also bought cows for slaughter of the SM breed at a dominant price of 260 dinars/kg. In slaughterhouses in the area of ​​the Mačva region, an increase in the purchase price of fattened beef over 480 kilograms was recorded to a dominant 355 din/kg, and the offer and purchase of this category of cattle were good.

The purchase price of calves of the SM breed weighing up to 160 kilograms was 550 dinars/kg in slaughterhouses in the Požarevac area and surrounding towns. In addition to calves, fattened beef cattle with a body weight of 350 to 480 kilograms were bought at a dominant price of 500 din/kg and slaughter cows of the SM breed at a price of 220 din/kg.

The same categories of cattle could be sold at the livestock market in Požarevac, and the prices were the same as in slaughterhouses. The dominant price for calves of the SM breed weighing up to 160 kilograms was 600 din/kg, and for fattening bulls of the SM breed, weighing over 500 kilograms, 310 din/kg had to be set aside at the livestock market in Sombor, during the past week.

The price of piglets increased in Kragujevac

At the live stock market in Kragujevac, an increase in the selling price of piglets weighing 16 to 25 kilograms to 350 din/kg and of slaughter sows to 200 din/kg was recorded. In contrast to them, the prices of fattening pigs with a body weight of 80 to 120 kilograms (DIN 240/kg) and fattening pigs with a body weight of over 120 kilograms (DIN 200/kg) were lower.

The purchase price of sows for slaughter was higher compared to the previous period in slaughterhouses in the Šumadija region. In slaughterhouses in the Podrinje region, there was an increase in the purchase price of piglets weighing 16 to 25 kilograms, because last week the amount of 400 dinars/kg dominated with a good offer and purchase of this category of pigs.

The dominant purchase price of piglets with a body weight of 16 to 25 kilograms was 300 din/kg, and fattening pigs with a body weight of over 120 kilograms was 220 din/kg in slaughterhouses in the Jablanica region during the past week.

At the livestock market in Leskovac, the prices were higher, so piglets were dominated by the amount of 280 din/kg, and fattening pigs 250 din/kg. The purchase price of fattening pigs with a body weight of 80 to 120 was lower
kilograms in slaughterhouses in the Middle Banat region, since the amount of 220 din/kg dominated.

There were no changes in the purchase prices of piglets with a body weight of 16 to 25 kilograms and fattening pigs with a body weight of 80 to 120 kilograms in slaughterhouses in the territory of the South Banat region compared to the previous period, and the volume of the offer was at last week’s level.

The price of šiležad in Braničevo has fallen

In slaughterhouses in the Braničevo region, a decrease in the purchase price of stilts compared to the previous week was recorded. The amount of 240 din/kg dominated. In addition to sheep, butchers from this area bought lambs at a dominant price of 500 and sheep at a price of 220 dinars/kg.

An increase in the selling price of lambs to a dominant 400 din/kg and a lower price of sheep from a dominant 190 din/kg was recorded during the third week of September at the livestock market in Kragujevac. The higher one was redeemable

The purchase price of lambs was higher and that of sheep was lower compared to the previous period in slaughterhouses in the Podrinje region, since lambs were purchased for 350 din/kg, while the price of sheep was 190 din/kg.

At the live stock market in Loznica, the sale price of lambs was also higher in the same period, so that the amount of 430 dinars/kg dominated. Butchers from the area of ​​the Mačva region lowered the purchase price of lambs compared to the previous period, since the amount of 400 dinars/kg dominated.
