Compared to the latest comparative data, the price of wheat and corn on the Product Exchange recorded an increase. During the last two working days of the previous year, as well as during this working week, a total of 2,174.00 tons of goods were traded, with a financial value of RSD 60,979,360.00. The market showed the most interest in corn, which was the primary commodity in trading, accounting for 50% of the total turnover.
The market is calm, the price of corn has slightly increased
The last working days of the previous year on the corn market passed peacefully, with reduced activity of participants. Since the beginning of this year, there has been a noticeable weak offer on the market, while the demand was mainly focused on corn without analysis for aflatoxin.
Exchange contracts were concluded in the price range from 19.50 to 21.20 dinars/kg excluding VAT, depending on the aflatoxin analysis and parity. The weighted price of corn was 20.07 din/kg without VAT (22.07 din/kg with VAT), and a slight price increase of 0.23% was noticeable.
Wheat price increased, supply weak
An extremely weak offer was also noticeable on the wheat market. The demand was mainly focused on wheat with 11 to 12% protein, while the offer mostly contained wheat with 13% protein. Exchange contracts were concluded in the price range from 23.70 to 24.00 din/kg without VAT, depending on the quality and parity parameters.
The weighted price was 23.77 din/kg without VAT (26.14 din/kg with VAT). Compared to the last comparative data, the price recorded a growth of 3.33%. A stock exchange contract was concluded with an advance payment of 6 working days at a price of 23.50 din/kg without VAT. With 725 tons of traded goods, wheat accounted for 33% of the total turnover.
Other goods
The soy market did not record much activity in the previous days either. One exchange contract was concluded at a price of 55.50 din/kg without VAT, with the calculation of quality (61.05 din/kg with VAT), and this was also the price weight. In relation to the last recorded weight price, a growth of 1.83% was recorded.

In the fertilizer market, a slightly higher activity is noticeable compared to the previous period. UREA was traded at a price of 45.22 to 48.16 din/kg without VAT (385 to 410 €/t without VAT) depending on the packaging and parity. AN, Russian, was also traded at a price of 39.35 (FCA) to 40.52 (CPT buyer) din/kg without VAT (335 to 345 €/t without VAT) depending on packaging and parity.
