The price of wheat JUMPS! | Product exchange

The week behind us on the Product Exchange was marked by a rise in prices for all primary agricultural products, as well as an increase in activity and growth in turnover. A total of 8,435.00 tons of goods were traded, 287.99% more than the previous week, with a financial value of RSD 230,211,650.00. The primary crop traded was wheat, which with 4,025 tons of traded goods accounted for 48% of the total weekly turnover.

The corn market is dynamic

In the corn market, the participants showed a lot of activity this week, and their focus was mainly on corn without aflatoxin analysis. Exchange contracts were concluded in the price range from 20.00 to 21.00 din/kg without VAT, depending on the parity.

The weighted price was 20.49 din/kg without VAT (22.54 din/kg with VAT), and compared to seven days earlier, a price increase of 2.09% was recorded. One exchange contract was also concluded at the parity of CPT port at a price of 21.50 dinars/kg without VAT. Corn accounted for 43% of weekly turnover this week.

The price of wheat increased

At the beginning of the week, a weak offer was noticeable on the wheat market, where mainly wheat with 11-12% protein was offered. At the end of the week, there was an increase in the offer, and stock exchange contracts for this crop were concluded in the price range from 23.30 to 25.00 dinars/kg without VAT, depending on the parameters of quality and parity.

The weighted price was 24.50 din/kg without VAT (26.96 din/kg with VAT), so compared to the previous week, the price increased by 3.11%.

The soybean market did not record major activities this week. One sales contract was concluded with deferred payment at a price of 57.70 dinars/kg without VAT with quality calculation.

There was a noticeable amount of activity on the mineral fertilizer market this week. UREA was traded at a price of 46.18 to 50.52 din/kg (393 to 430 €/t) without VAT, depending on the packaging and parity. AN, Russian, was traded at a price of 40.52 to 41.11 din/kg (345 to 350 €/t) without VAT, depending on the packaging and parity.

Among the other goods, feed barley with a hectoliter weight of 60 kg was traded at a price of 25.50 din/kg without VAT.
