The property of the ex-vice-governor of St. Petersburg Vladimir Lavlentsev is being sold through a trade auction. Corresponding information appeared on the Federal Resources website.
The former official was sentenced to 13 years for fraud and embezzlement totaling 66.3 million rubles.
According to Fedresurs, the former vice-governor of the Northern capital has shares in the authorized capitals of companies and a land plot. An area of 1,500 square meters in the Moscow region is being traded starting at almost 1.4 million rubles. In addition, the starting cost of 10 thousand rubles is set for a 100% share in the authorized capital of Megallan LLC.
Let us recall that Lavlentsev was the head of the largest contracting organizations in the Leningrad region, Gorkapstroy LLC (now – GORKA – approx. ed.). Previously, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
The case file states that the former vice-governor of the Northern capital was convicted of four counts of fraud and embezzlement:
- non-repayment of a debt in the amount of 2.7 billion rubles to his business partner – the owner of Stroytransgaz, billionaire Gennady Timchenko;
- misappropriation of funds during the construction of the House of Culture in Reutov, a road in Sheremetyevo and a bridge in Mytishchi;
- waste during construction control for the Stroytransgaz company on the construction of cultural and educational centers in three regions of the country for a total amount of 600 million rubles.
In addition, the court recovered 2.68 billion rubles from Lavlentsev in favor of Timchenko.
