The provisional MotoGP calendar for 2025 has been published.

The MotoGP calendar for 2025 has just been announced. It will be an extremely busy year with 22 rounds and 44 races.

As in previous seasons, 2025 will start with a non-European round. However, Thailand will host the opening round at the Chang International Circuit, instead of the usual venue in Qatar. This also means that Thailand will not be tied to Malaysia, as was the case this year.

From April to September, and the championship returns to the European continent. The track in Brno in the Czech Republic is back on the calendar and will no doubt be well received by drivers and fans alike.

Argentina is temporarily scheduled after the Thai Grand Prix, although it was canceled this year.

A new addition for 2025 is Balaton Park, Hungary. The track has only recently been completed and will be an interesting test for teams and drivers who will have little or no data and experience on it. The championship will be held in Hungary from August 22 to 24.

Compared to this year, two places are missing for 2025. First is the Sokol track in Kazakhstan. The race was canceled this year due to heavy flooding in this country. Second is the Indian MotoGP which has been postponed until 2026 due to what Dorna and the FIM have cited as “operational circumstances”.

The season finale is, as we are used to, in Valencia.
