The three-time Formula 1 world champion Ayrton Senna died on May 1, 1994 in a racing accident at the San Marino Grand Prix. Carrera, which is one of the most popular and well-known racing chronographs in the world, gets a very modern and sporty appearance this time: the 44 mm, Grade 2, brushed titanium case is topped with a carbon fiber tachymeter bezel with Senna’s logo and name, the dial is skeletonized (skeletonized). , its painting echoes the colors of the Brazilian flag/Senna’s helmet, located at 9 o’clock and the iconic S also appears on the auxiliary dial.
