The Redmi Note 14 series brings high durability and a 6,200 mAh battery

While Xiaomi introduced the 14T smartphone series in Europe, its subsidiary brand Redmi presented three models of the series in China Note 14. As usual, the new products come with compromises in terms of equipment due to the low price, but nevertheless these are very well-equipped phones that do not lack anything important for normal use.

It connects the three 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Android 14, on which a custom system runs HyperOS aj 50 MP resolution of the main camera that boasts optical image stabilization even with the basic model. The differences are in the sensor used and the brightness of the lens. The novelties do not lack stereo speakers, an infrared port, and at least the Pro models have NFC technology for contactless payments.

The construction is water and dust resistant with certification in all versions IP64 / IP68Note 14 Pro and Pro+ can also handle hard impacts and falls. While the basic Note 14 model received a flat display, the remaining pair offers a rounded OLED panel. And in addition, a finer resolution with a higher maximum screen brightness. V Redmi Note 14 runs the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset with 6 GB, 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. There are two storage options – 128 GB and 256 GB. The 50 MP camera is complemented by a 2 MP sensor designed for macro shots. The front camera is 16-megapixel. The battery with a capacity of 5,110 mAh supports 45 W charging.

Redmi Note 14 Pro boasts a 1.5K resolution and a brightness of up to 3,000 nits on a 6.67-inch display. The 4nm Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset is paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. There is a storage capacity from 128 GB to 512 GB. The cameras on the back are the same as on the Note 14, but an 8 MP wide-angle has also been added to them. The resolution of the selfie camera has increased to 20 MP and the battery has increased to 5,500 mAh. Charging speed remained.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is the most equipped model from the trio of new products. They are connected to the Note 14 Pro by the display, but the performance is taken care of by the well-known Snapdragon 7s supplemented by 12 GB or 16 GB of operating memory. The storage will be available in 256 GB or 512 GB capacity. The set of cameras has also improved. A 50 MP telephoto lens was added to the 50 MP main and 8 MP wide-angle.

However, the capacity of the battery, which jumped up to the value, will probably attract the most attention 6 200 mAh and supports fast 90 W cable charging. Coping with two days of even more demanding use on one charge should not be a problem.

The competition for the new series will be last year’s Redmi Note 13 series models, which still offer decent equipment and a very good price.
