  • The new chipset promises a significant improvement in performance and AI capabilities in the mid-range
  • The series will be launched on September 26th in China, a European launch has not yet been announced

Redmi Note from Xiaomi is one of the most popular phone series worldwide, so it is not surprising that the manufacturer updates them every year and brings us new models. Of course, this year will not be an exception, as the series will be revealed to us already on September 26 Redmi Note 14. So far, only the Chinese population, but the Xiaomi 14T series will be presented here on the same day, so if you are looking for a new phone with HyperOS, you might be interested in it. However, back to Redmi Note 14. The manufacturer is now inviting some key parameters through the official brochures, so let’s take a look at them.

Let’s start with the most interesting – batteries. Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will get massive 6200mAh silicon-carbon battery. This is a rarely seen capacity in the world of phones, but I would temper my expectations here. A model with a smaller capacity will probably reach Europe. Xiaomi regularly adjusts the battery capacities of Chinese models for Europe, mostly to 5000 mAh. An example is the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which has a 5400mAh battery in China and “only” 5000mAh in Europe. We will be able to charge at a speed of 90 W, which is a slight downgrade compared to last year, when it was possible to charge up to 120 W.

The heart of the phone will be the recently introduced one Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The latter promises 20% better CPU performance, 40% faster GPU and 30% better AI performance compared to its predecessor. And what is important – it is supposed to be 12% more energy efficient. So, at least in China, future owners could expect a very interesting endurance. Xiaomi also promises protection IP68 a IP69Kwhich is also unheard of for the middle class. The display should be protected by glass Gorilla Glass 2.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the European launch date yet. Xiaomi has a habit of launching phones in China first and then bringing them to Europe after a few months. So we can expect that the Redmi Note 14 will appear here at the beginning of next year at the earliest.

How are you looking forward to the new Redmi Note series phones?
