The refrigerator that makes food and the first laptop with an expandable screen, shown at CES 2025

Several devices using innovative technology were showcased at CES 2025. The world’s largest technology show is held in Las Vegas. Among the equipment on display are the fridge that cooks, the holographic display for cars and the see-through TV.

CES 2025 is attended by hundreds of inventors, researchers and equipment manufacturers. They presented state-of-the-art technologies, some for commercial launch, others with an experimental role. At this year’s edition, many pieces of equipment are based on artificial intelligence.

Among the equipment on display is the world’s first holographic windshield display. It’s a display that spans the width of the windshield developed by Hyundai Mobis together with optics company Zeiss. Mass production of this technology will begin in 2027, said representatives of the companies involved, according to Live Science.

A pendant that provides tactile sensations through vibrations was presented at the Las Vegas exhibition. It has a relaxing role and can reproduce, among other things, the way a cat purrs or how a human heart beats. Also on display was a reading device based on artificial intelligence. It reads children’s books and can imitate several voices. A device that reproduces tactile sensations, such as a hand inserted into the sand, was also presented at the exhibition. The technology does not use an engine, but oil.

At the event in Las Vegas, a TV with Artificial Intelligence produced by Toshiba that can isolate different sound sources from the TV transmission and the first transparent and wireless TV from LG were also exhibited.

Exhibitors also showed battery-powered art posters that mimic paper, the smartphone connector for satellite internet, and headphones that isolate the sounds around the user at a distance of half a meter. Also on the list of interesting equipment are a refrigerator that can cook and the first laptop with an expandable screen.
