The Novocherkassk Ropuchsa-class landing ship was hit by Ukrainian cruise missiles in the port last December. It was visible in the footage from that time the ship caught fire as a result of the hits, and then the munitions stored on it exploded.
The latter sealed the fate of the landing ship, blowing it to pieces.
According to some information, 37 crew members were killed in the attack.
The Russian authorities did not deal with the remains for a long time, but now it seems that they have decided the remaining pieces of Novocherkassk are removed from the port.

About 9 of the Ropcha-class ships were available to the Black Sea Fleet, a third of which (Novocherkassk, Minsk, Cezar Kuznikov) were already destroyed during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
