The reporting driver got himself into trouble

His overzealousness was criticized by a Canadian motorist who reported to the authorities on December 31 that he had eavesdropped on a motorcyclist who was driving while intoxicated, whom he even arrested. When the police arrived at the scene, however, they were not confronted with what they heard on the phone.

The motorcyclist was not drunk at all, on the contrary: he was sober. However, the same could not be said about the driver who called in due to drunk driving. The authorities about him announcement he put it like this, “the smell of alcohol came from his breath”, and the breathalyzer also indicated a positive value.

As it turned out, the motorcyclist’s “sin” was that he drove a little uncertainly in the dark.

Accordingly, the truly drunk driver had to accept the consequences, as he was banned from driving for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
